Technical Knowledge Sharing Session by Socomec

On 25 September 2025, the Technical Knowledge Sharing Session by Socomec Innovative Power Solutions Pvt. LTD. was organised by the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Moratuwa. The session was a bridge between academia and industry, and had topics on transfer switches, UPS systems and advanced metering solutions. Socomec professionals interacted with students in form of discussions and practical case studies that gave them an insight on real-life issues in power management. This was a timely event that informed final-year students in the industry and inspired them in their careers. The department wishes to warmly congratulate Socomec in enhancing this effective relationship which has empowered the association of education and industrial in the Sri Lankan electrical engineering industry.
